The Hormone Skin Connection

Your hormones play a big part in the health of your skin and how you experience the aging process. If your hormones are in balance, you may be able to achieve the healthy glowing skin you’ve always wanted. If there is an imbalance, you can pretty much expect to have some types of problems with your skin health.

Intrinsic skin aging is the process of aging as determined by your own body. One reason you age is a decrease in your hormone levels. As your hormone levels decrease, you may begin to experiences the changes in your skin health associated with getting older.

As your hormones decrease, your skin may become pale, dry and wrinkly. To keep your skin from experiencing these effects too early in life, you may look for ways to increase your hormone levels and keep your skin as young as possible as long as possible.

You don’t have to surrender the health of your skin to the natural aging process!

There are options for people who want to keep their skin as healthy and glowing for as long as they can. Of course, the aging process is a natural part of life, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go to certain lengths to look as young as possible.

Anna CabecaHave you ever given any thought to how the chemicals in your skincare products affect your hormones?

It may be time for you to evaluate your products by doing some research and reading some labels!

Your skin care products, like your face cream, could be creating a serious hormone imbalance.

Hormones are often added to skincare products, especially anti-aging creams, and they have been linked to certain kinds of cancer–it’s vital to understand what’s in your products.

The skincare products you’re using may also contain hormonal disruptors. If you use them often enough, you could be putting yourself at higher risk for tumor growth, endocrine hormone problems and internal organ problems.
